There is quite a storied history of this home in Oakland’s Hillcrest Estates, and if the fame of Cooperstown, NY means anything to you then that part of the story adds a whole bunch to the lore. But the home on its own is really an amazing local treasure. Built in 1980, this home was designed by the renowned architect Aaron Green whose resume includes his collaboration on 40 of master architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s projects. He was an associate architect for the Marin Civic Center and was Frank Lloyd Wright’s west coast representative for his firm Taliesin Associated Architects. What you’ll see here is an incredible custom home of over 5000sf set on a 2.66 acre lot with a gated entrance, tennis court, swimming pool, expansive bay views and a design based on a central axis that will dazzle any visitor.
